Friendly, helpful and with a good level of stock, which is currently being increased. Easy access and parking if coming by car. I bought some paint which was a couple of pounds a tin cheaper than elsewhere so happy days.

We booked overnight stops for 2 motor homes on our way up to Lake District and 2 more stops on our way back down to Kent it’s a real gem of a place & the owners are wonderful, we even went kayaking on the river which is on your doorstep great place & we all thoroughly & highly recommend it & at £14.00 for a night stop you get fresh water, toilet waste disposal, grey water disposal too you also get to see all the narrow boats & cruisers going through the lock as you park right alongside it.

Excellent.Owners are on hand and really helpful. Positioned right on the canal lock, shop will all caravan/Campervan necessities. Beautiful chandlery items and a lifejacket for the dog. Bought some original barge art, walked part of the staffs way, emptied and filled up and didn't break the bank. Towpath walk takes you to local village. This is a hidden gem and needs to be supported. Perfect for either a stopover or maybe a couple of days. Next door do canal cruises as well. Five stars is not enough.
